We all have a tendency to let things slide. You know, that moment where you step on the accelerator just a tad bit and you think, “I’m going to get this done.” Then you hit your brakes and you’re ready to let your foot off the accelerator. This is one of the things I struggle with. I don’t like it when it comes to my daily routine.
This is not to say that most of us are perfect. We all have a tendency to take things too lightly that can lead us down a dangerous path. If we step on the accelerator too much for too long, we could end up in a car crash or worse. In fact, I’m pretty sure most of us do this. But we need to remember that our thoughts and actions, our habits, routines, impulses, and reactions are all in control.
I don’t really care to go into too much detail about the various types of distractions. I will say that I do like to keep them to a minimum. I tend to stay focused on the task at hand, and the work that needs to be done, and I don’t like to spend time on things like the Internet, reading, or watching TV.
ive been doing this for over three years now and I have yet to commit an act of self suicide. Ive been very careful about trying to avoid distractions and have been able to do so for years. When it comes to alcohol (which is my weakness), I take a half of a pill before and after each meal to keep my levels low. I also do not go out too much.
I have a few friends who don’t like to be around alcohol. My wife is a recovering alcoholic too and has been sober for many years now, but I see the benefits of her being around. She is, and always has been, a very encouraging person. She even helps me with my writing.
I have not seen any of my friends go back to alcohol, but I have seen many people go through their own experiences with alcohol to help figure out what a good amount to drink and how long to stay away. When you are able to control your own alcohol intake and stay away from the things that make you feel drunk, it helps you focus on other things. I am sure there is a balance to be found somewhere, I just do not know it yet.

I can’t say for sure, because I have not tried, but it seems that when you are able to drink and drink, the effects of that alcohol can be much stronger than when you are not. You also are more likely to go to the bathroom after you get up. All good things. The last time I went to the bathroom in a while was the 3rd person I had to have to go to the bathroom after a night of drinking.
This is a great one. I have to agree with the previous one. I use this tip often. It is a bit of a double edged sword though. You can use it for long periods of time without alcohol but once you have it you can’t really get rid of it.
I use this one over and over again because it works. It is a great way to reduce the amount of alcohol you consume. I have several of these little bottles of something called “Liquid Alcohol” that I keep in my car. They are very similar to a cheap beer but they are much cheaper. I also keep a couple of them in each of my kitchen cabinets so I have a bottle ready when I get some. My wife has a similar one but I don’t use it.
