The program event is like a program called “the Program.” So the thing is, our lives are a series of programs. We create a new idea each time we start a new program. But we also create new ideas when we stop a program. So when you stop a program, you’ll create a new idea too, just like the Program. It’s sort of like a “programming” analogy.
As it turns out, there’s also a lot that we, as programmers, don’t know about the programming world. For example, you can probably guess what I’m talking about here. The Program has a lot of rules, and there’s a lot of complexity associated with these rules. We often tend to forget about the complexity and focus too much on the rules we expect.
One of the biggest rules I can think of is that the program is the program. If the program breaks, then it will break. This is a pretty good approximation of what computers are able to do. That said, if you stop a program, then you need to replace it with a new one.
The most complicated rule is, “All program events are local events.” This rules says that if a program breaks, all events that depend on it are also broken. In this case, if a program breaks, the entire program breaks. In fact, all of the events that depend on it are broken.
